Mid-Strip Dining Itinerary

I know a few Vegas newbies headed out to a conference in November. Overwhelmed with the options, not even knowing where to start, they asked me to put together a list of potential eateries. I reached out to our friends at Las Vegas 4 Ever for additional suggestions. Here’s what we came up with:

Breakfast

Mon Ami Gabi, Paris     $$

A French bistro with stellar views. Hard to start the day better.

Payard Patisserie and Bistro, Caesars     $$

More French bistro fanfare here. Great pastries as well.

Sambalatte, Monte Carlo     $

Simple coffee shop with basic pastries. But the baristas are top notch. Great if you only need something light to start your day.

Lunch

Giada, Cromwell     $$$

Fantastic, chic Italian restaurant with an amazing panoramic view. Great for breakfast as well, but it’s easier to get a spot at lunch.

Secret Pizza, Cosmo     $

The unmarked NY style pizzeria. Great spot for a quick bite and beer midday.

BurGR, Planet Hollywood     $$

I’m a fan of the high end burgers. The atmosphere is lacking though.

Estiatorio Milos, Cosmo     $$$$

Perhaps the best Greek restaurant in Las Vegas. Known for great seafood. A bit pricey, but lunch is more manageable if looking for an upscale choice: Lunch Menu 2015

Dinner

Lago, Bellagio     $$$

Italian restaurant featuring pastas, pizzas, and blah blah blah. Go for the fountain view. It’s what you’re paying for.

Mesa Grill, Caesars Palace     $$$

A Bobby Flay grilled dish menu. The pork tenderloin is the highlight.

Bardot Brasserie, Aria     $$$

Yes, more French cuisine. Gets consistently great reviews for good reason. They have bone marrow, which is a fun find. Go during happy hour to grab some drink specials.

D.O.C.G., Cosmo     $$$

I guess if you’re not going to get the best Italian food in the American Southwest (Battista’s), D.O.C.G. should suit your needs. Known more for the extensive wine list.

Late Night Snack

Flour and Barley, Linq     $$

Laid back space for some brick oven pizza. Open until midnight for a late night fix.

Todd English P.U.B, Crystals Shops     $$

Typical gastropub offerings, but slightly better than your neighborhood joint. How in tune with your taste buds are you after midnight?

Have any favorites I should add to the list? Let me know!
