Getting a response from corporate Twitter accounts is usually hit or miss. If you have any immediate questions or requests, your best move is to call the hotel directly. Many of my interactions with corporate Vegas accounts are attempts to be humorous and lighthearted. They’re also, typically, a one way conversation. On a rare occasion, however, I will get a response. On an incredibly rare occasion, the social media account manager will reciprocate:
The @ExcaliburVegas team is here and ready to hire. #MGMVets pic.twitter.com/E1gROixPIt

@VegasFanboy Mate, it isn’t necessary for you to be from down under & 4-6 abs are recommended. Visit http://t.co/OPYGsNnhN3 for more info 🙂

And that is how you do it. They managed to engage in jocular banter while still fulfilling their need to promote their business. There are a handful of interactive and helpful corporate Vegas accounts. I’ve had success interacting with @WestinLasVegas and @PlazaLV. When these accounts are up to the task, they can be extremely helpful. Here’s to hoping more come around and fulfill the needs of us consumers.
