In the past, the only way to redeem a purchased room reward was by calling the redemption number listed after claiming your prize. For MLife properties, this process is a bit more streamlined.
1. After purchasing the reward, you’ll be asked to enter your name and email address. Be sure to put in the email address that corresponds with your MLife account. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to sign up before completing the transaction.
2. You will receive your purchase confirmation via email, along with a redemption link which brings you to your MLife account.
3. Upon logging into MLife, the specific reward calendar will be available. The available dates are highlighted in gold. Click on the date you’d like to redeem and follow the checkout instructions.
This process is nice as it allows you to add extra dates on to your comp if you plan on continuing your stay at the particular hotel. No credit card is required. Reminder: you will still be charged the hotel’s resort fee and applicable tax. I just redeemed the NYNY room seen above. It took about 5 minutes and, best of all, no need to wait on the phone!

Is there any way to see a room calendar, anymore? Specifically for Mandalay Bay. I would like to check the availability before I purchase the reward, just to have to cancel. I can’t seem to find one.
Great question. I just sent a support ticket to myVegas asking about this specifically. I’ll let you know when I hear back.
Just found out, unfortunately, that the calendars can’t be seen until you purchase the reward. Imagine this may change in the future, but a headache for now.
If you search “mgm resorts myvegas dates” in Google, you’ll get links to each of the hotels. Mandalay Bay is here: http://www.mgmresorts.com/myVEGASdates/mandalaybay.aspx.
Thanks Travis! Talking with myVegas support, it seems that those calendars are initial releases and not updated, but a good place to start nonetheless.

So if you have a date in mind you have you have to waste your reward on the chance that those dates might not be avaliable?
Hi Samwise. Kind of. You have a couple of options. You can do that and simply cancel the reward if the date doesn’t work. You get up to 5 cancellations per month. You’re refunded all of the LP’s upon cancellation. Another option is to join the various myVegas groups. Some of them have members who post the rewards calendars when they redeem their own reward. Those calendars are subject to change quite frequently, but they can give you an idea of what days may or may not work. One of the best groups is the Facebook group, “myVegas Friends Rock”. They share quite a bit of information.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Is it possible to use reward point to book 2 rooms (one for me and one for another family memer) or can I just use one hotel reward per night?
Unfortunately, you can only use one reward per night. Actually, for most of the room rewards, you can only use one every 30 days. Your only hope is convincing someone else in your party to play myVegas. Room comps take quite a few LPs to redeem, but the discounted room offers are much less, making them more attainable for last minute players.
Thank you. I did call them and they said that you can’t use 2 room comps on the same night but you can use 1 full comp and one 25% off on the same night. That’s fine by me because I don’t want to spend all those coins for someone else anyway lol. I will get the discount room and if he wants to get a comp instead he can start spinnin!
